"Over the last several years, I've observed Kiersten possess a calm and loving temperament, patient yet consistent. Her expertise and her certifications make her training programs extremely effective and successful. I really enjoy working with Kiersten."
Kathy of Moonlight Goldens, Salida,Colorado
"Kiersten is simply the best! We were first time dog owners and she was so patient and taught us so much! She trained our puppy Dudley from 8 weeks old to over a year, and accomplished service dog status with him. He is the best dog because of her training. He listens, obeys, and is wonderful with our children."
Katie, Englewood, Colorado
"Kiersten took great care in providing A-Z service helping us in every detail. We’ve never raised a puppy before and having her as a resource has been a game changer. She is easy to work with, patient and responsive. With her guidance, our puppy is well on her way to accomplishing her Service Dog status and part of the therapy plan for our son."
Steve and Nicole, Orange County,
I use positive reinforcement to train for service. There are many types of service dogs. Potential services dogs go through rigorous training programs for one to two years.
Your behaviorally sound and well-trained dogs will have easy management techniques, will be socialized with other dogs and people, ready for your loving home.
Group puppy classes are possible by appointment.
“Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.” That means, the dog must not be a pet, but specially trained. In the eyes of the law, emotional support dogs and therapy dogs are NOT service dogs.
Emotional Support Dogs are not Service Dogs. For your dog to be considered as an emotional support dog, you must have an ESA Letter from a Licensed Mental Health Therapist or doctor in your state. There are two laws which define the housing and travel benefits your Emotional Support Dog may receive. https://www.akc.org.
